Lya & Co takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect on lyaandco.com, why, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights.

2. Data we collect and why

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number where provided, subject and message, used only to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in replying to it.
  • News sign-up: email address, to send you our news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
  • Audience measurement: if you agree, Google Analytics measures how the site is used (pages viewed, visit duration, device type, approximate country). Legal basis: your consent.
  • Technical logs: our hosting provider automatically records the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser, to keep the site secure and working properly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.

3. Cookies

The site uses:

  • cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (session, language choice), which do not require your consent;
  • Google Analytics audience-measurement cookies (_ga and _ga_*), set only if you click “Accept” in the banner and kept for no more than 13 months.

Your choice is remembered in your browser for 6 months. You can change it at any time: change my cookie settings.

4. Recipients

Your data is intended for the Lya & Co team. It is stored by our hosting provider, whose servers are located in the United States, and, if you agree, processed by Google for audience measurement. These transfers are covered by these providers’ contractual data-protection commitments. We never sell your data.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then no more than 3 years after our last exchange.
  • News sign-up: until you unsubscribe.
  • Audience-measurement data: no more than 14 months.
  • Technical logs: no more than 12 months.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict its processing or to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to its processing. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can contact the telecommunications/ICT regulator of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI) or, in Luxembourg, the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD).

The site is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to its administration is restricted and protected.
